1937 Ads introducing the Super trumpet

Our friend David Brewer recently discovered some very interesting Ads from 1937 that introduced the new Super trumpet.

The first is from the “International Musician” in September 1937.

Although the Super trumpet appears first in an undated Olds catalog that is estimated to be from 1937, this ad in September 1937 confirms the introduction date of this model.

A second ad from October 1937 in Tempo is much clearer but without the same amount of text.

The most recent serial number estimate has the first Super models early in 1937, so a little fine tuning may be in order, but at least this is confirmation of 1937 as the start of this iconic model. These new ads have been incorporated in the update of Super Evolution.
