1964/65 Catalog

This was Olds largest catalog to date at 51 pages. It follows a similar pattern of not being dated but it has been posted on the “Its A Bear” site as 1967 so we used that, but based on other catalogs and the models listed (it still has the Studio model prior to the nickel plated version) it would be earlier than the catalog that is dated as 1966 showing the newer version of the Studio, so we are revising this to 1964/65. Our copy had been “comb” bound, so one edge of each page shows the perforations for the binding, but none of the text is lost.

Pages 13-44 cover other brasses and woodwinds so those pages are not shown here but a .pdf scan of all pages of this catalog can be found on John Lowe’s excellent website It’s A Bear.

Pages 45-48 provides information about Custom and Professional model instruments, which had been introduced a year or so earlier.
