Mouthpiece receiver
The mouthpiece receiver is a three to five inch piece where the mouthpiece is inserted. There are some variations for some models or some engraving on some models.
The receiver is a separate piece of tubing attached to the leadpipe and there is nothing engraved or stamped on the receiver. This is the most common configuration.


There is no separate receiver, the mouthpiece inserts directly into a brass leadpipe (some Special models)

No separate receiver, the mouthpiece inserts directly in to a nickel-silver leadpipe (some Super Recording models)

There is an “L” stamped on the receiver. (not common)

There is an “S” stamped on the receiver. (not common)
