Alan Rouse’s 1950 Super Olds Trumpet

My 1950 Super Olds Trumpet (serial# 54xxx).

There are those who believe that no better trumpet has ever been made than the Super Olds trumpet. This Super Olds was restored by Rich Ita in 1999. I traded my Selmer Radial for this horn. This horn has great intonation, a sweet tone, and the smoothest scale of any horn I’ve played.
