Concert Band Folios

John Thorne provided scans of this Olds Concert Band folio that came with an Olds Cornet purchase. Circa 1959 with quotes from R. B. Olds and Rafael Mendez!

In the 1970’s era Educational Supplies catalog, concert band folios sold for $.07 with a minimum order of 500. I’d always assumed that the music stores provided these free of charge for advertising purposes. Perhaps they were free in the 1950’s but by the 1970’s, CMI and Norlin were squeezing out every dollar they could!
